Do I need a practitioner to receive the customized suggestions? +

Yes — you need to have a practitioner access code. This code would be given to you by your practitioner in order to grant them access to see your results and for them to release the suggestions to you.

If you do the test and do not have a practitioner you will not receive customized suggestions, only the report. The reason for this is so that your suggestions are appropriately accompanied with other important information, history, age, diagnosis, etc.

Your test is 16S — why don't you use other technology like Shotgun Metagenomics? +

We have carefully evaluated various testing methodologies and believe 16S testing provides the optimal balance of accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and clinical utility for microbiome analysis. For a more detailed answer, please contact us.
